Description
Side Effects
Common side effects are skin rash (discontinue the use), renal impairment (poor functioning), rise in level of liver enzymes and gastric intolerance to drug that appears as stomach upset.
Pregnancy
This medicine should only be used during pregnancy if clearly needed and no safer alternative is available.
Precautions
May make you dizzy; therefore, do not perform any tasks requiring alertness (e.g. driving) immediately after taking this medicine. Patients with history of heart disease, asthma, allergic actions, stomach and bleeding disorders, and the elderly should be cautious.
Contraindications
Ulcers and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, and heart, renal (kidney) and hepatic (liver) impairment.
